My name is Erin Moody and I graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Dance.  I have worked in geriatrics since 1991 as a geriatric family counselor leading Alzheimer's/Validation groups as well as 1:1 counseling and behavior consultation.  My area of expertise lies in expert discharge planning, insightful and thorough assessment and treatment of mood, cognitive, behavioral and psychosocial problems with non-pharmaceutical approaches. For the past 16 years I have worked as a a medical social worker and have become a trusted professional in the field of geriatrics. Also, I have extensively studied alternative, holistic approaches to health and health care for nearly 8 years. I have a strong belief in these approaches, and considerable knowledge in this area. I have seen that the elderly have very little access to holistic healthcare especially in any type of care setting. My vision is to bring this to them if they or their family desire. 

 

 

SHEILA SAGAMI OTR/L- ENTITY REPRESENTATIVE, CO-PROVIDER, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

 

My name is Sheila Sagami and I graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy.  I have 22 years of experience working in various settings and treating various conditions, diseases, and injuries.  These include neurologic, orthopedic, cardiopulmonary diagnoses, and hand therapy.  I also provide wheelchair assessments for optimal positioning, comfort and mobility.  I currently work in several skilled nursing facilities and as a researcher in robotics with stroke patients.  My area of expertise is in the geriatric population with neurological conditions.  As an occupational therapist, I assess both physical and cognitive functional needs to assist in maximizing the highest level of independence.
